Lionel Trains 3472 Automatic Refrigerated Milk car type 3 with platform $60.00 This car is cream colored, with 6 milk cans and was produced in 1950. This track works with remote track 1019 or rcs tracks. Pul car up to platform and unload milk cans on platform. Does have some paint chips but over all I think you will be happy with this item. This was one of lionel best selling accessories.

3656 Operating Stockyard with Cattle Set. Sorry Sold 2 Sets in Stock This set would unload the cattle into the platform from which they could then be loaded again into the car. Operated with the use of a sliding shoes that were on the trucks of the car when they contacted the electrical pickups in the platform base. Produced from 1949 until 1955, there are five variations to this car. These variations have to do with an "ARMOUR" sticker that was applied to the car (1949 - Variation A & B), and the color of the gates on the platform which were either YELLOW or ORANGE.Early cars came with staple-end trucks and later variations had bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers. The first issues of the platform had a chain that went across the top of the ramp. This car came with nine BLACK cattle in a separate box that is illustrated to the right This set was just serviced and works good togeather.
3472 & 6472 With Platform Just serviced. with 1019 Remote track $110.00 The Automatic Refrigerated Milk Car No. 3472 This was one of Lionel Most popular accessories. The car came with seven magnetic milk cans, No. 3462-70, that were loaded manually through a hatch in the roof and were unloaded with the use of a 6019 or UCS track section on to the platform. However, Lionel found it more convenient to box up six cans, and later issues of this car would have only six milk cans. This set also includes 6472 Refrigerated Milk car. This was a non operating car made to match 3472.

I have just service engine and it runs great. Numbers on engin are strong. Paint in this engin is very good with minimal chips. The 2671W Tender is in good shape missing one step. It has the Pennsylvania shell wich is in great shape. Whistle is strong. If you have one of these engins when you were young her is a chance to get one back. It uses a plug and socket arrangement to controll the e-unit. Great smoke unit, headlight and 3 position E-unit. I have just service engine and it runs great. Numbers on engin are strong. Paint on this engin is very good with some chips. The 671w Tender is in ok shape. Proball a 6 out of 10. Lettering does have some smudges looks to have tape or smoething on it wich I was not able to fully remove douring cleaning. Whistle is strong just serviced. If you have one of these engins when you were young her is a chance to get one back. I think you would be very happy to get this engine. It is a beast.
